Anti-Ageing Matcha and Cocoa Face Mask

This mask can be used on any skin type as we have used a mix of bentonite and Kaolin clays which are kind and balancing. The real stand out ingredient is the Matcha powder. Green tea has been used for centuries in Japan for health benefits and the powder is known to have amazing antioxidant and smoothing properties. Teamed with organic raw cocoa powder to increase elasticity and reduce fine lines.
There are no essential oils in this product.
 
Most face masks you buy are already in a cream format. This is supposed to help you with the application but all the clean properties of a natural product are lost when the liquid part is added and stored as manufacturers then have to start adding preservatives to keep the product stable.

    Camellia sinensis (Matcha green tea) Powder
    Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract powder

  • How to Use

    With Pyon, we mix our mineral and plant powder formulas and keep them dry so there is no need for parabens or preservatives to be added. Mixing is easy, just add 2-3 teaspoons in a clean bowl and mix with enough water to form a paste. Start with the same amount of water as mask powder and you can always add a little more to make it smoother if needed.
    Our tip is to use nonmetal containers and spoons as this can deactivate the properties and stop the clays from working in the way we want them to.
    You can always create your own formula by using rose water, witch hazel, or aloe vera gel.
    When using the mask keep it away from your eyelids and under-eye area and keep on the skin for between 10 and 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and a cleansing cloth or pad and follow up with toner and moisturiser.
    If at any time the mask feels uncomfortable on your skin wash off as soon as possible.
